This gyno is second to none! Dr. Bass, as previously mentioned by another user, has bedside manner second to none. No matter what it is you are coming in for, he begins your visit with a chat to cover any and all questions. He is very realistic and direct but compassionate with his medical opinion.
He delivered my baby girl last January and my doula was in complete awe with him and the hospital, as my doctor was very open to my thoughts and feelings on my birthing experience. This man is extremely gifted and such a breath of fresh air. When you feel like your health may be compromised, he gives you a complete sense of assurance every time and makes you feel like you have one of the most skilled minds in your corner.

I have been seeing Dr. Bass for the last 8 [years]. I would not trade him for anyone or anything. He got me through a stressful pregnancy.
When I was diagnosed not once but twice with breast cancer he was there. This time I am dealing with Stage IV. He truly cares about his patients. My primary (who had been my doctor for over 20 years) hasn't picked up the phone once. Dr. Bass calls me just to check up on me to see how I am doing.
Dr. Bass starts every appointment with a "chat" in his office. You then move to the exam room and sometimes back to his office.
His bedside manner is second to none. He truly practices medicine, the human side of medicine.

Dr. Bass is cool and really trustworthy if you are a picky patient. He is punctual and efficient. This is my 2nd pregnancy and my last experience wasn't so great. My ob-gyn didn't show up when I had a late night delivery, I was assigned a doctor on-site randomly. So I was quite picky and want a doctor that I can trust myself and my baby with.
This time I chose Bass, and he was in office every check-up I had. And on my 39 wk check-up, Dr. Bass found out I had early labor signs. He scheduled me to check into hospital at midnight and promised to see me at 7 am, he showed up at 6:30 am. He planned the whole delivery progress well, and checked with me frequent enough, around 8:30 am my baby comes out. I am very thankful for the smooth and easy delivery. I found Dr. Bass through Yelp after switching from another doctor who was not helping me at all and did not take my health seriously. I made an appointment with him and explained my situation (3 ovarian cysts). He gave me all my options, with one of them being surgery. He explained the process step by step and answered ALL of my questions.
I finally made the decision to have surgery, which I was extremely nervous for, due to it being my first surgery. The day finally came and after my surgery they found that it was the best decision to have had surgery since my cyst was the size of a baseball and about to explode. I was thankful he did not remove any ovaries and handled everything professionally. I feel like he understands what us women go through and takes very good care in a professional manner. Dr. Bass is one of the best obgyns! I moved mid-pregnancy and was worried about finding another doctor, but I am so glad I ended up with Dr. Bass for the second half of my pregnancy.
